Job summary
A rehabilitation center in Lakewood Township, NJ is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist/Speech Language Pathologist to conduct speech/language programs for residents. The successful candidate will evaluate residents, develop treatment goals, and guide them in activities for enhancing communication and swallowing skills. Candidates must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and be either licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey. Competitive hourly rate and benefits are offered.
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited Master’s Level Speech Language curriculum certified by the American Speech/Language/ Hearing Association.
Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state.
Eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association.
Responsibilities
Evaluates residents and develops appropriate treatment goals and methods.
Instructs residents in the skills and techniques required for participation in activities.
Consults with rehabilitation team members to select appropriate therapeutic regimen.
