Job summary

A rehabilitation center in Lakewood Township, NJ is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist/Speech Language Pathologist to conduct speech/language programs for residents. The successful candidate will evaluate residents, develop treatment goals, and guide them in activities for enhancing communication and swallowing skills. Candidates must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and be either licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey. Competitive hourly rate and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Master’s Level Speech Language curriculum certified by the American Speech/Language/ Hearing Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state.
• Eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops appropriate treatment goals and methods.
• Instructs residents in the skills and techniques required for participation in activities.
• Consults with rehabilitation team members to select appropriate therapeutic regimen.
