Job summary

A leading rehabilitation firm in Linden, New Jersey, seeks a dedicated Speech/Language Pathologist to assess and treat patients facing communication and cognitive challenges. In this role, you will work closely with healthcare teams, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation. Candidates must hold a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, be licensed in New Jersey, and exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills. Qualifications

• Licensed in the state(s) to practice as a Speech/Language Pathologist.
• Certified by American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for rehabilitation services within 24 to 48 hours of physician’s orders.
• Develop effective treatment plans.
• Communicate pertinent information concerning patient’s progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Record evaluations and treatment notes.
• Instruct patient’s families in maintenance programs.
