Setting: Inpatient Acute Rehab

Job Type: PRN

City/State: Springfield, OH

What you will do in this role:
  1. Help patients recover and improve their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through therapy.
  2. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and billing.
  3. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  4. Instruct families and nursing staff on follow-up care.
  5. Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
  6. Adhere to company policies, legal standards, and professional ethics.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification standards.
  2. Meet requirements for ASHA’s Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology.
  3. At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
  4. Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  5. Current CPR certification.
  6. Strong organizational and communication skills.
