Speech Language Pathologist - HRS PRN

What you will do in this role:

1. Assist patients in recovering and improving their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities through therapy.
2. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and daily documentation of charges.
3. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
4. Educate patients' families or nursing staff on follow-up programs.
5. Maintain equipment and work environment in a safe and clean condition.
6. Perform job responsibilities in accordance with the company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance standards, professional ethics, and applicable laws.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
2. Meet the education and experience criteria for ASHA's Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology.
3. At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations as a speech therapist or speech-language pathologist.
4. Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
5. Current CPR certification.
6. Strong organizational and communication skills.
