Lifepoint Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a hospital/rehab setting. The role focuses on contributing to patient recovery and communication improvement in a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, SLP licensure with ASHA certification, and CPR certification. Acute or rehab experience is preferred, with strong communication and clinical judgement

Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Muskogee is a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital specializing in the treatment of patients recovering from post-intensive care and medically complex conditions. Our hospital provides both intensive care and telemetry-level services, offering advanced monitoring and support for patients requiring extended medical care. With a multidisciplinary team dedicated to personalized treatment plans, we focus on helping patients achieve significant recovery and transition to the next level of care.

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.

Essential Functions

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
