Job description

Buckeye Forest of Jackson is currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. We currently have both full-time and PRN positions available.

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for facilitating the recovery of speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive function for patients who come through our skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities include the assessment and treatment of our residents with a wide variety of deficits, including, but not limited to, dysphagia, cognition, speech, and/or communication difficulties while developing a treatment plan to help each patient reach their goals.

Other essential functions of the position require clinical documentation according to regulatory and professional guidelines while maintaining productivity standards, and strong communication with other staff, residents, and their family members to achieve the desired outcome to the best of our abilities.
