Description

What you will do in this role:

• Help patients recover and improve by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and billing.
• Document patient care following regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
• Instruct family members and nursing staff in follow-up programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to the company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance standards, professional standards, and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program or meeting ASHA certification standards.
• Meet the requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology by ASHA.
• At least six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
• Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
