If you're passionate about helping residents improve their communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities while working in a collaborative post-acute environment, we'd love to hear from you.As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and improve quality of life for our residents.What You'll Do* Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing needs.* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and resident goals.* Provide evidence-based therapy to improve communication, cognition, swallowing safety, and overall functional outcomes.* Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and family members to ensure coordinated care.* Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.* Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings, rehabilitation conferences, and discharge planning.* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, home programs, and aspiration precautions.* Assist with staff education and provide clinical in-services as needed.* Supervise Clinical Fellows (CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology students when applicable.* Maintain compliance with all facility, state, federal, and professional practice standards.Qualifications* Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.* Current, unrestricted California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.* Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply if eligible for supervision.* Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience is preferred but not required.* Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.* Strong commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.* Competitive **$50.00-$60.00 per hour** pay* Flexible PRN scheduling* Supportive interdisciplinary rehabilitation team* Modern therapy environment with a collaborative culture* Opportunities for continued learning and professional growth* Rewarding work that makes a meaningful difference in residents' livesIf you're looking for a flexible opportunity to provide exceptional speech therapy services in a supportive post-acute setting, we invite you to apply today and become part of the McClure Post Acute team!We are an equal opportunity employer.
