Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for an elementary setting for the 2026/2027 school year in Martinez, CA. You will serve a caseload of about 50 students and may work full-time or part-time to fit your schedule.

This role offers meaningful impact and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff. Responsibilities include evaluations, IEP development, direct therapy, and participation in multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
  • Deliver engaging direct therapy, both individual and group, to foster language development and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students academic and social success.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with district and legal guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
