Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Randallstown, MD. This PRN role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy and ensuring compliance with CMS documentation requirements.

You will work with residents, families, and staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, perform FEES/MBS coordination, and contribute to clinical excellence in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) required.
• Active SLP license in the practice state(s).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services per standards and productivity guidelines.
• Evaluate and collect data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff to carry over goals in daily activities.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Screen residents to identify needs and ensure timely care.

Job Position: Speech Language Pathologist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: PRN

Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Job Functions:

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.

• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation

• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals

• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities

• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems

• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs

• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Education & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Certificate of Clinical Competency

• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.

• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
