Evolve Therapy Services is a therapy management organization hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Job Position: Speech Language Pathologist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility.

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions available.

Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as directed by the Administrator, to ensure the highest quality of resident care.

Job Functions include:

  • Providing quality speech therapy services and initiating referrals when appropriate, following established standards of practice and departmental procedures.
  • Evaluating residents and collecting data for treatment planning and implementation.
  • Developing treatment plans with specific goals.
  • Instructing patients, families, and staff in speech-language procedures to facilitate therapy goals in daily activities.
  • Completing documentation in compliance with CMS standards using NetHealth EMR systems.
  • Overseeing protocols for FEES/MBS procedures and coordinating site programs.
  • Participating in screening protocols to meet resident needs efficiently and with clinical excellence.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency.
  • Active SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
