Evolve Therapy Services is a therapy management organization hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Mount Sterling, KY.

Job Position: Speech Language Pathologist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN

Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure the highest quality of resident care.

Job Functions include:

1. Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, following established standards of practice, department procedures, and productivity standards.
2. Evaluate and gather data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
3. Develop a treatment plan with targets, short-term, and long-term goals.
4. Instruct patients, families, and staff in speech-language procedures to facilitate carryover of therapeutic goals in daily activities.
5. Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation in accordance with CMS expectations using NetHealth EMR systems.
6. Oversee and implement protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs.
7. Participate in screening protocols to ensure timely and clinical needs of residents are met.

Education & Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
2. Certificate of Clinical Competency.
3. Active SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
4. Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.
