Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support communication and language development in a school setting near El Paso, TX. The role is contract-based and focuses on assessing students, developing IEPs, and delivering direct therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, possess state licensure (or eligibility), and preferably hold CCC-SLP.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility.
  • CCC-SLP preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered.
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate students to determine speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with special education teams.
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Document student progress, maintain records, and report to parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding speech and language development.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute insights to multi-disciplinary teams.
