Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a Birmingham, Alabama school setting. The contract runs from ASAP through June 10, offering on-site collaboration with educators and families to improve student communication and learning outcomes.

The role requires a valid educator certificate, a master’s in speech-language pathology, and knowledge of special education laws, with ASHA/ABSESPA licensure preferred for enhanced eligibility.

Competenze

  • Valid Professional Educator Certification.
  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations related to special education.
  • Understanding of pediatric and adolescent development.

What We’re Looking For
  • Valid Professional Educator Certification
  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution
  • Comprehensive understanding of laws, rules, and regulations related to special education and services for children with disabilities
  • In-depth knowledge of pediatric and adolescent development, both cognitive and physical
  • Familiarity with diagnostic instruments for assessing students with disabilities
  • Ability to accurately interpret policies, data, and regulations related to the field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • On-site availability (remote/virtual not considered)
  • Preferred: ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure
