Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The SLP will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support timely discharge and quality care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, documentation, mentoring students, equipment coordination, and pursuing professional development with clinical management.

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • CCC Certification in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • BLS Certification.
  • One or more years of clinical experience.

  • Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans focused on patient progression toward discharge.
  • Collaborate with the team on timely equipment trialing and ordering.
  • Complete medical record documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in student program as assigned, providing mentorship and supervision.
  • Develop and pursue a professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
  • Engage in patient and professional advocacy efforts.
  • Maintain professional licensure and ensure compliance with state practice acts and regulations.

Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with each patient's needs and physician direction. The role includes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge and ensure timely patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans focused on patient progression toward discharge.
  • Collaborate with the team on timely equipment trialing and ordering.
  • Complete medical record documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • BLS Certification.
  • One or more years of clinical experience.
