Job description

Bayada Home Health Care - Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Per Diem

Bayada Home Health Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem home health position serving adult and geriatric patients in Cleveland County.

Responsibilities:

• Make home visits to clients within designated geographic areas.
• Perform evaluations, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues.
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations, physician’s orders, and goals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning with BAYADA clinicians.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
• Document observations and interventions accurately using electronic tablets.

Qualifications:

• Current NC Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, or equivalent education and experience, with eligibility to take the ASHA exam.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
