Location: Promise Center for Autism – San Antonio, TX

If so, Promise Center for Autism is hiring for a full-time Speech Therapist (SLP CCC or CFY) position! We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our multidisciplinary team and begin onboarding immediately (start date flexible).

Position Overview:

The Speech Therapist (SLP CCC or CFY) will provide evidence-based speech and language services to a pediatric population, primarily children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Clinical Fellows will work alongside our Speech Program Coordinator and will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP-CCC as they complete their fellowship year. Our center emphasizes child-led, neurodiversity-affirming, and strengths-based approaches, offering hands-on experience with AAC, social communication, play-based therapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Applicants must be available from at least 1:00–5:00 PM on weekdays, our highest-demand time for therapy sessions.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting evaluations and assisting in the development of individualized treatment plans
• Providing therapy sessions focused on speech, language, and communication
• Supporting AAC implementation (both high- and low-tech systems)
• Collaborating with OTs, BCBAs, and families
• Maintaining timely and organized documentation
• Participating in supervision and team meetings
• Engaging in ongoing professional learning

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (from an accredited program)
• Eligible for Clinical Fellowship (CF) in the state of Texas
• Passion for working with autistic children and non-speaking communicators
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive, child-centered, neurodiversity-affirming care

What We Offer:

• Compensation: $45.00–$60.00 per hour, or base salaried positions available starting at $71,500–$85,800 annually

• Bonus bracket system (ranging from $5,200 to $20,800 annually) available for SLPs who exceed minimum billable hours.

Exact compensation is based on experience, certification status (CFY vs. CCC), and caseload structure.

• Salaried roles are available for full-time SLPs based on anticipated billable hours. Initial caseloads are thoughtfully structured to include a mix of billable and paid non-billable time (such as documentation, collaboration, and training). We prioritize clinician well-being and build schedules that support high-quality care without burnout.

• For SLP-CFY, comprehensive mentorship and supervision will be provided by SLP
• For SLP-CCC, collaboration and/or mentorship with other SLP.
