Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred

• One or more years of experience in speech pathology.
• Note: If the CCC-SLP certification has not been obtained, the candidate must be placed into the SLP Clinical Fellow (CFY) position, which involves supervision, hour requirements, and mentoring.
