Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Dayton. You will evaluate, plan, and administer individualized speech and language therapy for patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support meaningful recovery.

The role requires state licensure and CCC, CPR certification or completion within 30 days of hire, and a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with relevant experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer personalized speech therapy plans for patients.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the rehabilitation journey.
