Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown seeks a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders in an inpatient setting. You will develop personalized plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapies to maximize outcomes.

Qualifications include state licensure, CCC certification, CPR or within 30 days of hire, and a Master's degree is preferred (Bachelor's with field experience also acceptable).

• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
