The Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY region seeks a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/CF) to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. The role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders, in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• New York State SLP license or eligibility required.
• Clinical Fellows welcome to apply; CCC-SLP preferred for experienced candidates.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide skilled therapy based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately and on time.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and safety strategies.
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members.
• Supervise rehab aides in accordance with state guidelines.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge through continuing education.
• Support high-quality, person-centered care across the rehab program.

Pay: $35.96-$50.08/hour Schedule: Full-Time, Days | Preferred 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Rotating weekend coverage Location: Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, New York Setting: Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation Clinical Fellows Welcome

A respected skilled nursing and rehabilitation provider in the Watkins Glen / Montour Falls, NY area is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its care team. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders in a collaborative, patient-centered setting. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
