Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions, Inc. in Largo, FL is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a great SNF / LTC facility.

This direct hire/permanent role features a days schedule and an opportunity to join a growing team dedicated to patient-centered care. The SLP will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide skilled speech therapy interventions, develop plans of care, and help patients achieve functional communication and swallowing goals in alignment with physician

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or in the process of licensure.
• Must have CCCs.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop, or recover, reliable communication and swallowing skills.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP.
• Must have CCCs.
• Current CPR certification.
