Job summary

TheraDynamics in New York seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.

You will conduct bedside and instrumental swallowing assessments, develop diet texture recommendations with dietary staff, provide cognitive-linguistic therapy for dementia and TBI, and train nursing staff and families on communication strategies and safe feeding techniques.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification (or CF candidates welcome).
• Current or eligible for New York State SLP license.
• Dysphagia assessment and treatment experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration and documentation skills.
• New graduates and CF candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

• Develop diet texture recommendations in collaboration with dietary staff.
