Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant school setting near Birmingham, AL. You will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders while collaborating with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized IEPs.

You will design and implement tailored therapy sessions, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
  • Prior experience in a school-based environment is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Passion for collaboration and creating positive student outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement therapy sessions tailored to students’ unique needs and goals
  • Monitor and document student progress, keeping thorough records
  • Engage in regular communication with families and staff to facilitate student success
