  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective communication skills, customer service focus, team-oriented attitude, and basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Implement and adjust treatment plans, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
  • Conduct patient assessments, establish and evaluate treatment programs, and develop discharge plans with input from patients and families.
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge instructions per departmental protocols.
  • Provide ongoing patient and family education, and serve as a resource for staff and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
  • Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, attendance, and adhere to dress codes and infection control protocols.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, applying communication principles like AIDET, fostering teamwork, and creating a positive environment for patients and staff.
  • Participate in professional development, mandatory education, and orientation activities to maintain licensure and competence.
