The Grand at Guilderland is seeking a FULL- TIME Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. If you are passionate about making a difference and providing personalized care, we would love to have you on our team.
Pay Range: $52- $60 hourly
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Evaluation & Treatment Planning:Assess residents' speech and language needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Activity Selection:Design activities that help residents improve independence in their daily activities.
Progress Monitoring:Observe and assess resident performance, adjusting treatments as necessary, and preparing detailed progress reports.
Rehabilitation Support:Assist in the rehabilitation of residents affected by injury, illness, or other conditions.
Maintain a Safe Environment:Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
Confidentiality:Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the secure handling of confidential information.
Documentation:Keep accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress, auditing department records as necessary.
Team Collaboration:Work closely with healthcare teams to contribute to a cooperative and supportive team environment.
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program.
Licensing: Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist License.
Experience: Prior experience is preferred, but not required.
