Interim HealthCare Inc. in South Portland, ME seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide compassionate, home-based therapy and help patients improve communication and swallowing abilities.

The role emphasizes personalized care in a patient’s home, with flexible scheduling and a focus on quality of life. This part-time position requires current licensure or eligibility, ASHA CCC-SLP credentials (or in progress), and at least two years of relevant experience, along with CPR/BLS certification

Job description

As a Home Health SLP for Interim HealthCare®, you’ll help patients find hope and healing through home-based speech therapy designed to overcome their challenges and increase their quality of life. The Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) will join our team of healthcare professionals based out of our South Portland, ME office. This is a part-time position. We kindly request that only applicants residing in the state of Maine apply.

Job Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist

• Current License or Certification as a Speech Therapist
• Education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology granted by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association OR meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification
• In the last five (5) years, two (2) years of experience as a speech therapist that is relevant to the patient population assigned
• CPR BLS Certification
