Job summary

Ami Network is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in San Jose, CA for a temporary role (~13 weeks) offering $60–$65/hour. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play a key role in helping patients regain communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while improving their overall quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Developing individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
  • Providing skilled therapy services and ongoing reassessment
  • Educating patients, families, and caregivers
  • Maintaining timely and accurate documentation
  • Collaborating with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Advocating for patients and supporting successful discharge outcomes
  • Participating in quality improvement and customer service initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing in CA
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • 1+ year of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources preferred
  • Strong documentation and clinical reasoning skills
