Rehabilitation Institute of South San Antonio is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time role (Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day) in San Antonio, TX. The hospital focuses on comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, helping patients recover from strokes, trauma, and surgeries with intensive therapy services.

The SLP will assess and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans, and educate patients and families

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification (required).
• CPR certification required.

The Rehabilitation Institute of South San Antonio is a 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital located at 12011 SE Loop 410 Access Road in San Antonio, Texas. It's designed for individuals recovering from serious injuries or illnesses that have affected their ability to function independently.

This new, state-of-the-art facility provides intensive, patient-focused rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. It specializes in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and independence after events like strokes, traumatic injuries, or surgeries.

How you'll contribute

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.
