Job summary

Solaris HealthCare East Orlando is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality care to residents. The role requires a master’s degree in speech pathology and licensure eligibility, with CCC/SLP certification or CFY eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree in speech pathology or equivalent.
• CCC/SLP certification from ASHA or CFY eligibility.
• Must be licensed or eligible to practice as a speech-language pathologist in the state.
• Prior speech therapy experience preferred.
• Member of state and national ASHA preferred.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
• Thorough knowledge of speech therapy principles, methods, materials and equipment.
• Knowledge of patient safety hazards and precautionary measures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and staff.
• Ability to understand and follow physician directions and implement treatment plans.
• Demonstrate emotional stability to cope with job demands.
• Maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Medicare/third-party reimbursement preferred.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications:

• Musthave a master’s degree from an approved curriculum in speech pathology, or itsequivalent
• Musthave a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/SLP) from the AmericanSpeech/Language/Hearing Association or be eligible for a Clinical FellowshipYear (CFY)
• Mustbe licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a speech-languagepathologist or CFY in the state of
