Job summary

Synchrony Rehab, a subsidiary of Trilogy Health Services LLC, seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Willard, OH. The role involves evaluating and treating speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in an interdisciplinary setting.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, an active or pending state license, and prefers CCC-SLP. CPR certification is also preferred. On-site work at The Willows at Willard.

Qualifications

  • Must have and maintain a current state SLP license.
  • CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred or required.
  • CPR certification current; preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals.
  • Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Educate patients and families about disorders and therapy techniques.
  • Maintain documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Job Summary The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), is responsible for providing a full range of speech-language pathology services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Must have and maintain a current, valid state SLP licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred or required
  • Current valid CPR certification, preferred
Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

Experience: 0-1 years

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients' specific needs.
  • Provide therapy to improve patients’ communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, and fluency, as well as swallowing and feeding abilities.
  • Educate patients and their families about the nature of disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies to support progress and enhance communication and swallowing in daily life.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Other duties as assigned.
