Job summary

Responsibilities

Job description

Children's Therapy Place, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for our Meridian clinic. We are an outpatient pediatric therapy practice with locations in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley, providing speech, occupational, physical, and mental health services, along with behavioral and developmental support.Our mission is to support children and those who care for them through collaborative, innovative therapy services. We value compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to helping children reach their potential, and we are seeking individuals who align with our mission and values.What you’ll do:Provides Speech Therapy services to clients and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Speech Therapy Department procedures.Evaluates clients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Conducts specialized evaluations as indicated.Develops treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short and long term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.Coordinates treatment plan for client and provides copies for family and other professionals.Implements and conducts treatment plan as outlined in treatment plan.Monitors client’s response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.Documents results of clients’ assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services.Adapts treatment to meet the individual needs of the client.Recommends and obtains appropriate equipment to improve client’s communication.
