LLA Therapy in Northeast Ohio is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to join our clinic team, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities in Medina and surrounding areas. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within Ohio.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Proficient in English; reading, comprehension and expression.
• FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
• Professional Liability Insurance recommended by governing body.
• Positive and goal oriented; able to work with others.
• Thrives in fast-paced environment with teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations on assigned patients.
• Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient’s learning profile.
• Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
• Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.
• Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s treatment plans.
• Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (physician, school district, other therapies).
• Create and submit all reporting, including recommendations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Essential Accountabilities For The Speech-Language Pathologist

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language.
• Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
• Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.
