Job summary

Fouraker-Hills-Rehab-and-Nursing-Center-1 is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for PRN coverage in Jacksonville, FL. You will assess and treat patients across age groups, focusing on communication and swallowing goals to improve quality of life.

Join a collaborative team, deliver evidence-based therapy, and educate families while maintaining thorough documentation and flexible scheduling to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals.
• Deliver therapy for communication disorders, fluency challenges, voice issues, and swallowing difficulties.
• Use evidence-based methods and cutting-edge techniques to boost patient progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Track patient progress, document sessions, and maintain detailed records.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies for everyday success.
