Job summary

Award Care in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our family-oriented team. Full-time and PRN positions available with competitive hourly wages based on experience.

You will administer evaluations, develop treatment plans, and help residents overcome communication challenges, including those with limited English proficiency. A current SLP license and degree from an accredited program are required, with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current SLP license for state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer evaluations and examinations to diagnose and develop treatment plans.
• Refer clients to additional medical or educational services as needed.
• Monitor Residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provide communication instruction to Residents with limited English proficiency.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess the progress & prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards.
