Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Greenwood, IN is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support residents in an assisted living and memory care community. The role offers 5-8 hours per week with compensation of $51–$56 per hour; PRN options pay $55–$60 per hour.

You will assess and treat speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in EHR and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment: evaluate speech, language, voice, and swallowing; develop diagnoses.
• Treatment and education: provide evidence-based therapies; monitor and adjust plans; educate patients and families.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records in line with standards.
• Collaboration: work with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
