Job summary

HealthPro Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fredericksburg, VA for a school-based setting (Pre-K–5th). This W-2 role offers $40–$45/hr, 37.5 hours/week, and year-round benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and CEUs.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification: Current ASHA CCC-SLP required
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities; excellent communication and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities with standardized tests and observations.
• Implement evidence-based therapies and monitor progress; adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress and treatment in EHRs; ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
