Job summary

Stratford-Rehabilitation-Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to help residents regain function in a skilled nursing facility. You will work to achieve patient and therapy goals and educate patients for post-discharge maintenance.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and an active license, with full-time hours Monday through Friday. Compensation ranges from $43 to $50 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and active state license.
• Must have basic computer skills and ability to navigate EHR and service delivery software.
• Licensed and credentialed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state.

Responsibilities

• Return patients to optimal function in SNF setting.
• Facilitate progress toward therapy goals with collaboration with therapists and physicians.
• Educate patients on maintenance after discharge through education and home exercises.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to return patients to optimal physical function in a SNF setting. You will facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university and hold an active, unencumbered license from the state of practice.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Shifts & Wages:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: Monday - Friday
• Wage: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
