Liberty POST is seeking an Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for itinerant work with birth-5 children through EI and CPSE/CSE programs in Rochester. Roles include evaluating, therapy, and family education within natural learning environments.

Positions available part-time and/or full-time with flexible scheduling. Requirements include NYS SLP licensure, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of early childhood experience.

• Current New York State License and Certification in Speech Pathology (SLP)
• Minimum one year of experience in an early childhood setting
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor child’s progress; adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Test and evaluate child’s abilities to determine goals.
• Record evaluations, treatment, and progress in the EMR system promptly.
• Write detailed analysis and reports.
• Maintain confidential records and essential documentation.
• Follow NYS laws and regulations for Early Intervention and CPSE/CSE.

Liberty POST is currently seeking motivated and energetic Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) (Itinerant) for part-time and/or full-time employment to work with children who are birth-5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available in Rochester.

Liberty POST has offered its clients a range of high-quality and individualized services since 1994. Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY and has grown to provide a range of services throughout New York State and Indiana. We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a child’s natural learning environment, a family’s unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we serve.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Test and evaluate child’s abilities to determine realistic goals.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system.
• Proficient at writing detailed analysis and reports.
• Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of child’s records and other documentations.
• Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

• Current New York State License and Certification in Speech Pathology
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum one year of experience in an early childhood setting

• Basic: $40-$46
• Extended: $54-$60
• Evaluation: $100-$115
• Basic Facility Rate: $32-$35

Pay Rate: CPSE

• Basic 30 minutes 1 child: $35-$42
• Basic 30 minutes 2+ children: $31-$38/child
• Basic 45 minutes 1 child: $45-$52
• Basic 45 minutes 2+ children: $41-$48/child
• Extended 60 minutes 1 child: $55-$62
• Extended 60 minutes 2+ children: $51-$58/child
• Evaluation: $95-$115

*Overall annual compensation is dependent upon size of caseload in fee for service roles.
