Job summary

Encore at Parkside is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for both Skilled and Outpatient Departments in Delaware. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered and paid in installments, with continued employment required for one year.

The SLP will organize and provide speech-language services, facilitate patient participation, and support communication and swallowing skills within professional ethics. Responsibilities include evaluation, therapy, documentation, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) program.
• Current DE state licensure.
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide skilled therapy interventions, perform re-evaluations, and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in care conferences, and make referrals as needed.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate adaptive communication devices, and ensure patient safety and equipment maintenance.
• Supervise CFYs and support staff as applicable and perform FEES if qualified and trained.
