Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy to patients as directed and educate patients and caregivers. You will also arrange for adaptive equipment and support related communication needs.

The role requires MI SLP licensure upon hire; 2 years of experience is preferred, with BLS/ARC 90 days certification expected. This is a part-time on-site opportunity in a hospital Rehab Resource Pool setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• State of Michigan SLP licensure required upon hire.
• Driver's license required.
• BLS/ARC 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
• Educate patients and caregivers about communication disorders and treatment plans.
• Arrange for adaptive equipment as needed.
