Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a school setting in the Greater Oakland area. This in-person role is centered at one site, serving primarily pre-K through 12 students, with a schedule that runs Monday to Friday.

Start ASAP and earn $90/hour+ for qualified SLPs. At Ro Health you’ll conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, collaborate with families, and integrate assistive technology to support communication.

Qualifications

• CA SLP license in good standing required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Compliance with state and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy for articulation, fluency, language delays, and disorders.
• Counsel patients and families on communication needs.
• Incorporate assistive technologies to improve communication.
• Conduct screenings to identify at-risk individuals and implement preventive measures.

Overview:

• $90/hour+ for qualified SLPs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information for diagnosis.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific and measurable goals tailored to the needs of each client.
• Provide therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders, including articulation disorders, fluency disorders, language delays, and language disorders.
• Provide counseling and support to individuals and their families, addressing emotional and social aspects of communication disorders
• Integrate and train individuals in the use of assistive technologies that can enhance communication and daily living
• Conduct screenings to identify individuals at risk for speech and language disorders and implement preventive measures

Qualifications:

• Relevant SLP experience
• Current CA state SLP license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State and contract-specific compliance requirements
