Job summary

FlexCare is hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract in San Lorenzo, California for the 2026–2027 school year.

The role focuses on evaluation and consultation across districts with a 37.5-hour work week and collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork. In-person duties require CA licensure and CCC-SLP; interview process is fast. This position supports students across grade levels under the district.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• California SLP license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Pediatric and school-based experience.
• Experience conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans.
• Knowledge of IEPs and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Strong communication, organization and time management.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Pediatric experience required
• School-based experience preferred
• Experience conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language services
• Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
• Comfortable working across multiple school sites throughout the district
• Must meet all credentialing, background check, fingerprinting, and district onboarding requirements
• This is an in-person position.
