Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Harrison, Arkansas. The role requires a valid SLP license and current BLS certification, with preferred CCC-SLP and Master’s degree.

You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes while maintaining documentation and complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Experience as an SLP is preferred but new grads welcome.
• Additional certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders; develop and implement therapy plans.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and progress notes.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines in all settings.
