Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech or language disorders, and to formulate individualized treatment programs.

The clinician will work under physician direction, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing direct therapy to residents in SNF settings. State licensure and graduate-level training are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Proficiency with state, federal, and professional standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
• Under physician direction, provide direct patient treatment based on care plan.
• Develop appropriate care plans for residents in SNF settings.
• Direct rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communication and/or swallowing abilities.
• Administer, score, and interpret hearing and speech tests.
• Instruct residents and families to practice new skills.
• Complete forms and documentation per policy and regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
