Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to implement standards of care for Speech Therapy and to evaluate, assess and treat patients’ speech, voice and language function for rehabilitation.

The role includes performing detailed assessments, building tailored therapy plans with clear short- and long-term goals, delivering therapies, re-assessing progress, documenting sessions for billing and compliance, and coordinating with physicians and nurses to ensure holistic patient

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility for certification required.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments of speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Create tailored therapy plans with clear short- and long-term goals.
• Administer therapies and exercises safely and effectively.
• Regularly re-assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation for billing and compliance.
• Coordinate patient schedules and communicate with the care team.
