Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Therapy is required
• State license to practice Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) - ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• ASHA CCC-SLP qualifications preferred
• 0–1 year of experience in speech pathology preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to educate patients and families

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans through diverse techniques and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress; adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about disorders and strategies for communication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
