Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat medically complex patients with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized plans, educate patients and families, and contribute to continuous improvement within the department while advancing your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Active New York State SLP license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat medically complex patients with communication and swallowing disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care plans and provide education and support to patients, families, and staff.
• Serve as a clinical resource while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
• Build a foundation for long-term professional growth, advancement, and leadership opportunities.
