Job summary

Avamere is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide and direct high-quality patient care at the Sunnyside Transitional Care location in Salem, Oregon. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation, in collaboration with the rehab team.

The SLP will supervise staff, ensure safety, and contribute to quality assurance and customer service initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved curriculum in Speech Language Pathology.
• Able to practice unencumbered.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech pathology services to patients according to licensure.
• Directs and supervises assistants and rehab staff per guidelines.
• Follows safety procedures for patient and personal protection.
