Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for our Transitional Care of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. This role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules with a wage range of $47–$60 per hour depending on experience.

You will evaluate and treat patients, plan goals, educate families, and ensure compliant documentation. Responsibilities include supervising assistants, following safety procedures, pursuing continuing education, and contributing to department

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved curriculum in Speech Language Pathology.
• Active license/ability to practice in good standing.
• Full knowledge of residents' rights; Medicare payer knowledge.
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech pathology services to patients per licensure.
• Direct and supervise assistants and rehab staff per guidelines.
• Document evaluations, daily progress notes, and monthly reports as required.
• Develop treatment plans and provide treatment for best functional outcomes.
• Educate staff and third-party payers on interventions.
• Participate in quality assurance and customer service activities.
